Works with software specialized in applied social research techniques

Within the Data Processing Workshops, a series of practical activities are carried out that require learning different computer programs and tools that favor your knowledge and skills. Among them:

  • BigML: to understand how machine learning processes work and to get into big data .
  • Python: for data analysis in data science when data comes from different sources.
  • SPSS: focused on statistical calculations and analysis with survey data. These include multiple, classification trees, factorial, discriminant, correspondence and clusters. Also for presenting quantitative data in graphic form (tables, diagrams, etc.).
  • Atlas.ti: specialized in qualitative data processing and categorization of text, audio, video and images.
  • STATA: for advanced statistical processing, calculations and analysis with quantitative data.
  • R language: for statistical analysis in data science.
