15th Class of UFIS's Online Degree in Social Work

With this official online qualification you will be trained to contribute to improving the well-being of society. Develop critical thinking and a proactive capacity  to actively and practically involve yourself in diagnosing problems and designing policies that promote social progress. Once you complete this social work degree, you will be able to work in the public sector (social services, health, etc.), social entities (NGOs), private companies (providers of social services) or work as a freelancer. 

Graduate in Social Work in less time with credit recognition

Take advantage of the plans offered by UFIS for senior technicians in social integration, diploma holders and graduates and obtain your degree in Social Work in less than four years.

Up to 30 ECTS credits are recognised if you come from the Higher Technician in Social Integration. If you have work experience in Social Integration, up to 36 ECTS credits may be recognised.

  • Social expertise:  explores the legal aspects of forensic social expertise, the duties of the expert, the importance of defense and the entire practical process.
  • Community mediation : in conflicts that arise in the context of citizen coexistence such as the neighborhood, the school environment, neighborhood groups and collectives, etc.
  • Presentation of projects to the public administration:  addresses issues such as the procedure, the public procurement platform, the contents of a project, the reasons for the failure or success of a project, etc.

The professional opportunities for graduates in Social Work are wide and varied . If you choose to work in the public sector, you can apply for different public examinations in the social field, such as Penitentiary Institutions, Health Services, Social Services, Public Administration, universities… as well as any other administration that offers vacancies. In some communities, having a Degree in Social Work is a requirement to apply for certain positions, so you will have an advantage over others who have completed their studies in social work.

Also, with a degree in social work you can choose to work in the private sector, as a self-employed or employed person , and even in third sector projects. The Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work is aimed at students seeking a personal and integral training, interested in the economic, organizational and social aspects of companies at international level, since companies create changes and social progress.
