Learn to lead teams with a cross-cutting knowledge of the main enablers of the  4.0 ecosystem (robotics,  Internet of Things , IOTA, smart manufacturing, cybersecurity, AI,  blockchain , 3D printing,  big data, edge computing, cloud computing  or  business intelligence,  among others).

With a  strong professional, technological, industrial and practical character,  this postgraduate course is focused on acquiring a complete vision of the sector and providing well-integrated and efficient multi-technological responses to the internal processes of the industrial sector. It carries out the change from automated systems to intelligent and interconnected systems in an efficient manner.

To access the position, a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering (branch of Industrial Electronics) is required; a degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering or an engineer or graduate of other related qualifications with subjects that cover the competency profile.

Why study the Master in Industry 4.0 online at UFIS?

With this official master’s degree you will obtain the necessary knowledge to solve real problems arising from the digitalization of industrial organizations , through pioneering tools for change in digital transformation. To do so, we have the practical subject ‘Professional Projects for the Digitalization of Companies in the context of Industry 4.0’.

Provide an  effective solution to a digital transformation challenge  proposed by our partner companies. To do so, you must take into account the type of organization and its context within the industrial sector, and apply the knowledge acquired throughout the degree on digital enablers and IoT. These projects will require the presentation of a final document with a proposal, which could easily be put into action in real life.

The companies that have already participated by posing challenges are:

  • IZERTIS. Automation of traceability of food production chain.
  • EUROCONTROL. Medical monitoring and communication of patients in ambulances.
  • ATOS. Integration of an energy efficiency system in corporate buildings.
Why study the Master in Industry 4.0 online at UFIS?

The fourth industrial revolution requires professionals prepared to apply IoT techniques in the industrial field, as well as profiles with knowledge of the technologies related to digitalization demanded by industry and companies. In this way, training becomes an  essential and differentiating aspect in the job market. Thanks to the master’s degree:

  • You will master the  main technologies  such as industrial robotics (RPA – Robotic Process Automation ), intelligent and cyber-physical systems, 3D printing, big data and analytics , blockchain,  cybersecurity, AI and cloud computing .
  • You will gain the knowledge to analyze and identify the tools and aspects necessary for the  integration of IoT platforms  into common computer systems and with the rest of the Industry 4.0 disciplines.
  • You will learn about IOTA and its advantages and disadvantages compared to other technologies, such as blockchain.
  • You will be able to apply the key aspects for the  digitalization of a project  and create new business models  through new technologies.
  • You will transform a traditional manufacturing system  into a smart manufacturing system and understand the concept of digital twins in this new field.

Work on your TFM with RED Proyectum, a platform of companies that will present you with problems that you will have to answer using the knowledge acquired throughout the course. Among our collaborators are companies such as Aspromec, Telefónica or Keyland.

Specialize in the Internet of Things with an advanced university course

Stay ahead of the curve and complement your UFIS online  Master’s in Industry 4.0 with a specialization that will make you a highly qualified professional in the sector.

Master in Industry 4.0 + Advanced University Course in IoT .  You will be able to identify the characteristics and possibilities of the architecture, components and most important modules of real and applicable business technological solutions of the Internet of Things with cutting-edge platforms such as Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

Attend practical labs to become an expert in Industry 4.0
  1. Robotics, Intelligent Systems and Cyber-Physics Laboratory that will be based on the simulation of simple industrial environment scenarios and the identification of the degree of robotization and digitalization of a factory in a specific context and its integration with other technologies.
  2. Smart Manufacturing, Simulation and 3D Printing Laboratory. In which smart manufacturing simulation will be developed, designing a 3D model, making simulations and tests with said model and simulating the generation of prototypes using 3D printers.
  3. Sensors, IoT Devices, Networks and Communications Protocols Laboratory where the identification of sensors and IoT devices will be carried out, their application in an Industry 4.0 context and the design of a communications network for sensors and IoT devices.
  4. IoT Platforms Laboratory that develops the identification of the most important characteristics and modules of Internet of Things platforms and the ability to evaluate and analyze the generic modules or enablers that can be used to design applications and technological solutions in the field of Industry 4.0.
